05 Days Karongwe Reserve South Africa Safari

You will be met on arrival into Hoedspruit Airport and transferred by road to the lodge. After lunch you will experience your first game drive in an open 4X4 safari vehicle with ranger and tracker, followed by dinner. (LD)

Start the day with a guided bush walk and learn about the medicinal uses of the various trees and the deep cultural connections to the fauna and flora of the African culture. The walk will give you the opportunity to get a closer look at animal tracks and be fascinated by birds and smaller creatures. After lunch you will follow the scenic route to the Blyde River for a fantastic boat trip to experience the Canyon (please note that the boat trip may be replaced with a trip to the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre depending on river conditions). Return to the lodge in time for a delicious dinner. (BLD)

Start your day with an early morning game drive accompanied by your guide and tracker before breakfast. After relaxing for a few hours in the lush gardens, or reading a book from the well stocked library you will meet with your ranger on the deck in the afternoon for your game drive in open Landrovers. Get the chance to experience the thrill of viewing lion, elephant, leopards, rhino and buffalo up close. Take pleasure in finding nocturnal animals with a spotlight!! When you return to the lodge you will be met with a welcoming sherry on the deck and can enjoy a traditional Boma dinner while being entertained by traditional dancers. (BLD)

Today enjoy an all day trip to the renowned Kruger National Park. Depart early this morning for a full day in the famous park and enjoy a packed breakfast within the park. While enjoying the variety of wildlife you’ll visit the various lookout points in the Kruger National Park. Return to the Karongwe in time for a fabulous dinner. (BLD)
