Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kisumu to Masai Mara Reserve

0700 hours, morning pick up from your hotel, guest house or from the airport in Kisumu by Hallmark Travel Planners’ drive-guide. Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve.

The drive from Kisumu to Masai Mara takes between 4 hours to 6 hours depending on the route and the location of the lodge. You expect to arrive in time for a hot lunch at the safari lodge.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Leisure Camp similar safari camp or lodge.

Day 2: Day in Masai Mara – Safari Activities

The famous Mara is easily Kenya’s leading wildlife reserve. It is renowned for its great herds of plain’s game including the black-maned lion, the elusive leopard and agile cheetah. This park also has numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife available in Kenya.

On this day, you will have 3 game drives during the day and will also be able to enjoy the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. Alternatively, you can take a full day of game drive with picnic lunches in the Mara. All meals and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp, or Mara Sopa Lodge or Mara Leisure Camp or similar safari camp or lodge

Day 3: Drive Masai Mara back to Kisumu or end in Nairobi

You may opt of an early morning game drive on this last day in the reserve. After breakfast we will have time for the further game drive before leaving for Kisumu or Nairobi. You arrive in time for late lunch. Drop off at your hotel or at the airport.
